What it is

Funds are not a PGR legal form in Liechtenstein but a supervisory category: an investment undertaking may be structured as a company limited by shares, as an investment company with variable capital (SICAV), or as a contractual arrangement.

What governs is the Financial Market Authority's authorisation. On the profile pages of this register a fund therefore carries two things side by side: its commercial-register entry and its FMA authorisation, each labelled with the authority that published it.
